2016 National Veteran Car Rally – Being held in and around Ulverstone.

Over 80 pre-1919 motor vehicles from all over Australia and overseas have entered this event which has been organised by the Veteran Car Club of Australia (TAS) Inc.

Members of the public are most welcome to come and look at the cars each morning from about 8.30am, prior to their daily run, at the VCCA clubrooms in Maskell’s Road near Camp Clayton.

The vehicles will also be on display in Anzac Park from 3pm on the Wednesday followed by a gas light parade down Reibey Street at 8pm.  As all the entrants are staying locally you will also see them about the town.

On the Monday there will be a run to Wynyard and on Tuesday the cars will be visiting Tasmazia and Sheffield.  The Thursday run is to Sassafrass and Port Sorell and the final day sees the cars heading to the Leven Canyon.

Please feel free to chat with the entrants about their vehicles if you get the opportunity.  Many of the cars have their own individual oddities which their owners are only too happy to discuss.
