The MHFA course teaches participants how to assist someone who is developing a mental health problem or in a mental health crisis.  This is a 12-hour course.  The course participants receive a copy of the MHFA manual and a 3 year nationally recognised accreditation certificate on completion of a short term exam.

Developing mental health problems covered: Depression, Anxiety problems, Psychosis and Substance use problems.  Ideal course for Managers, HR/WHS, Workers, Mothers, Fathers, Sisters and Brothers - this training is a benefit to any adult who attends.

Courses will be held on the 14th & 15th and 17th & 18th November at the Ulverstone Sports and Leisure Centre in West Ulverstone.
