Poultry Workshop – The Tasmanian Rare Breeds Poultry Club is running a chook workshop to help those who would like to know more, or get some advice on keeping all sorts of poultry. What breeds to buy, what to feed, how to recognise disease and much, much more. There will be a light luncheon, tea and coffee. Lots of literature on many topics and an excellent book will be given out on the day. Plenty to see and talk about, including demonstration after lunch on how to kill and dress poultry if desired.
