Breastfeeding Education Classes – Planning to breastfeed? Prepare to succeed! 1pm to 5pm in Ulverstone. Although breastfeeding is natural, it doesn’t always come easily and is a learned skill. Many mothers wish they had been better informed about breastfeeding prior to the birth of their baby. Classes are presented by trained Australian Breastfeeding Association (ABA) counsellors and educators in a relaxed atmosphere. Expectant parents can: gain up-to-date knowledge and tips to prepare for the vital days, weeks and months after baby’s birth, develop confidence to help you enjoy the rewards of breastfeeding your baby and discuss any breast feeding questions and concerns. Cost $20 for current ABA members, $90 per couple (includes 12 month ABA membership and the FREE book Breasteeding…naturally RRP $34.95). $75 for concession card holders.
