Opportunity Knocks – Presented by Ulverstone Repertory Theatre Society Inc., Leven Theatre, Patrick Street, Ulverstone, Sat 6th, Fri 12th, Sat 13th, Thu 18th, Fri 19th and Sat 20th at 8pm, Sun 14th at 2pm. Who would have thought going to the Op Shop could be so amusing!  This play, a comedy in two acts, directed by Andrea Harding is set in a charity run opportunity shop. Upstairs, over the shop, live two younger women, Madge and Carol. These ladies are exotic dancers at the Pink Pussy by night, and by day they run a very successful phone sex business, which the Op shop staff believe is simple telemarketing. The dissimilar values and attitudes of the two very different lots of tenants, upstairs and downstairs, and the stream of weird and wonderful customers coming and going through the Op shop, create some very funny situations, that will have you bursting at the sides. Ulverstone Rep have again complimented this work with musical interludes that will be entertaining and get the toes tapping. Not to be missed, the last show sold out quickly so don’t be disappointed.
