Poultry Amnesty & Sale Day – Ulverstone Poultry Club is running a Poultry Amnesty Day from 9am to 12 noon. Anyone who has unwanted poultry is welcome to bring them along to the Ulverstone Poultry Pavilion, 2-4 Flora Street, West Ulverstone (just inside the entrance near the railway line). We ask that all poultry be free of disease please. The club will either re-home them or have them humanely put down. This service will be provided for a gold coin donation per bird to help raise funds for our club. (You are welcome to remain anonymous and a donation box will be set up for your convenience.) We also offer advice on poultry health issues and identify the gender of young birds. For this service we charge $2 per bird. Hand sanitiser will be available and please maintain Covid19 social distancing. For enquiries please call Ainslee 0409 439 737 (after 5pm) or Debbie 0498 760 035.
