A full day printmaking workshop with Tasmanian Aboriginal Artist Allan Mansell. Join Hive’s current exhibiting artist Allan Mansell for a day of printmaking at Co-Lab (located next door to Hive at 107 Reibey St). Explore printmaking styles and techniques, develop your creative ability and share cultural stories with Allan whose work is currently on display in the Hive Art Gallery in the exhibition ‘Told/Retold’. Suitable for all levels of ability, this workshop will give you the opportunity to learn printmaking techniques at your own pace, create your own collagraph plate and use a press to print your work onto beautiful archival paper to take home. *This workshop is suitable for ages 16+ and is perfect for beginners – no prior experience is needed. *All materials supplied. *As printmaking can be messy we encourage you to wear comfortable clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty and bring an apron. *Please note that this workshop is being held at Co-Lab, located next door to Hive at 107 Reibey St.
