LIONS CLUB OF PENGUIN - CHRISTMAS PARADE 2024 The Lions Club of Penguin invites you to take part in our 2024 Christmas parade.   The parade is always very popular.  It kicks off and sets the tone for the Christmas festivities.

Date:                                Friday 6th December 2024
Assembly time:                 6.30 p.m.
Assembly place:               Johnson’s Beach Road (western end of Main Street)
Parade starts                   7.00 p.m.

PRIZE DETAILS
The following prizes will be judged while the parade is in progress:-
Best decorated float                                1st $150, 2nd $ 75, 3rd $ 50
Best costume & participation                   1st $70, 2nd $ 50, 3rd $ 30
Individual with the “Christmas Spirit”       1st $50
Best dressed Penguin                               1st $50
Best decorated shop window                    1st dinner voucher for $100

Please contact a parade marshal at the assembly point so that your organisation and theme can be correctly announced as you pass though the spectator areas.
For safety purposes, objects including lollies must & will NOT be thrown from moving floats, due to the incidents from last year.  If you wish to give out sweets or promotional items during the parade, please arrange for walkers on either side of your float to do this.
