A celebration to launch Hive’s Autumn program.

You are invited to the launch of Hive’s Autumn program
Saturday 23 March 2023: 1 – 3pm
This is a free event (between 1-3pm) with activities happening throughout the building including:

• Art Gallery exhibition opening: Grain an exhibition presented by the North West Woodcraft Guild.

• New Stories for the Museum exhibition A Town is a Tapestry… and every person’s story is a stitch: The Bushmen of Black Bluff and Championing the Chop.

• New ground floor displays by local artists Dorian Reeves and Fiona Wallace alongside an exploration of the history of the Ulverstone State School by Museum Volunteer Liz Baade.

• New Planetarium Show: Phantom of the Universe: The Hunt for Dark Matter showing at 2pm and 3pm.

• Live Music.

• Leven Regional Arts (LRA) and North West Woodcraft Guild (NWWG) open studios.

• Plus a 10% discount in the Hive shop for all those attending the event.

The official opening and speeches will take place on Level 1 at 1:15pm where light refreshments will be served.

This event is free, but registration is essential.
