Pacific Rythm

  • Ulverstone Sound Shell - Bicentennial Park 2 Victoria Street Ulverstone, TAS, 7315 Australia (map)

The Central Coast Council is excited to host the 2025 Pacific Festival – Pacific Rhythm in partnership with the Pacific Australia Labour Mobility (PALM) Scheme. This free family event will celebrate the vibrant culture, songs, and movement of the Pacific Islands and the PALM scheme workers who form a vibrant part of our community.

Attendees will enjoy a lineup of traditional and contemporary music and dance performances by Pacific cultural groups. A free sausage sizzle will also be available for everyone to enjoy.

Mayor Cheryl Fuller welcomed the event as a celebration of cultural connection and community spirit.

“The Pacific Rhythm Festival is a wonderful opportunity to showcase the incredible talents and cultural traditions of the PALM Scheme community in the Northwest Tasmania. These workers play a vital role in supporting our local businesses and primary producers, and we are delighted to host this free family event to recognise their contributions.”

Come along for an evening of entertainment, culture, and community connection at Pacific Rhythm! Everyone is welcome.
