Arts and culture play a vital role in making our region a vibrant and exciting place to live, work, and play. With the opening of Hive—a significant cultural centre that includes a purpose-built art gallery—we have a unique opportunity to develop a new signature art prize.
With the conclusion of the long-running ArtEx prize, which has supported and energised our arts community for over 30 years, we now have the chance to reimagine how Council can continue to foster the arts and engage with our community through this signature art prize.
We need your input to help shape this vision. As a first step, we invite you to complete this short survey. Your voice will be key in exploring how this new signature prize can grow and benefit our community.
