Ex-Penguin Daryl Peebles (formally Novak 'n' Good - these days, not much better!) and Ben Richardson (that Auslan Dude) have combined to bring their respective 50-minute stand-up comedy shows to Tasmanian audiences before gracing the stages of Melbourne at the 2025 Melbourne International Comedy Festival. Daryl's Stand Up for Seniors .. but not necessarily on the bus looks at ageing through the eyes of one who is slowly getting there and can still see the funny side of older life. This show appeals to seniors who can laugh at themselves, and younger people who may need some guidance in growing old disgracefully.

Ben Richardson is a professional Auslan interpreter and will have you in stitches as he recounts stories of occasionally 'getting it wrong'. He will also reveal some signing secrets known only to the Deaf community - including some non-flattering, universally accepted sign language differentiating many of our beloved politicians.
